I love this place. We always have wonderful food in lovely surroundings, and the staff are fantastic. In my opinion this is the best TL place in Greenwich.
After being let down by another Greenwich TL restaurant on Sunday evening for my father-in-laws 80th birthday meal (they closed the kitchen but failed to let us know!) The Hill took a short notice booking and saved the day.

This place is great. Fully deserves the Michelin and Time Out mentions. The best bit is that it's set in a lovely pub - not at all pretentious or over the top. It's just about good (actually, amazing) food.

A friend and I met at The Hill before heading off to a show at The Roundhouse last night.
The restaurant area was romantically-lit and the food was delicious and sumptuous! We totally agree with Michelin + Time Out: this London pub is definitely worth a visit! We definitely recommend the place!
Great dining experience!

Walk into The Hill’s main bar area & it’s like being transported back in time - rich purples & sumptuous gold leaf evoke turn-of-the-century Parisian chic. Outside, there’s a newly-landscaped, heated garden, while inside is the restaurant area as well as a separate intimate function room.
Located on the edge of Belsize Park & a stones throw from Camden, the renowned kitchen serves dishes from a modern British menu (one of only 50 Michelin & Time Out recommended pubs in London). Open daily (the kitchen times are Mon to Thurs 6pm-10pm, Fri 6pm-11pm, Sat 12pm-11pm and Sun 12pm-9pm), The Hill is an ideal place to meet friends before heading off to a show, or simply a great place for an informal get-together & a bite to eat in the romantically-lit dining area - the kind of place where you can often see a celebrity in the shadows.
Interesting fact: In 1966 Muhammad Ali set up his training ring on the first floor at The Hill in the lead up to the second of his two fights against British boxing legend Henry Cooper.
